Over the counter acne spot treatment and acne care product skin

You can also buy green drinks which are concentrated green foods. Many of them also come with other foods added in such as apple pectin, ginseng, and many other herbs that can be great for your acne and health. Using some sort of whole food supplement is often a good idea as it can be difficult to get enough nutrients just from the food you eat alone. Juicing can also be potentially effective at helping to reduce acne.
Other factors that are thought to contribute to acne include:Use of oil-based, pore-clogging cosmetics (look for non-comedogenic products).A family history of acne.Abrasion caused by over-vigorous scrubbing or frequent shaving.Exposure to high heat and humidity. The use of certain drugs, such as glucocorticoids, iodides, bromides, lithium, artificial androgens and others.
If your acne is deeper and more persistent, a treatment needs to be designed to effectively reduce the production of sebum. This is the oil that is believed to be responsible for most acne conditions. This treatment approach would be an effective way of preventing the acne from getting worse and possibly even stopping it altogether. One prescription for achieving this is called isotretinoin (e.g. Accutane), a Vitamin A based treatment. It will only be prescribed by a doctor if the acne is severe and persistent, and is not suitable for anybody with liver problems.
